- Accommodation search
For an accommodation search, you have different search engines located at the left side of the web page.
- General search
You must select at least one of the options and then click Search.
The results of your search will show on a list, ordered according to Huespedia rating criteria. You may change this pre-determined option and order them by price.- Advanced search
If you want to find accommodations with specific equipment and characteristics, you may use this search engine to complement the general search.
- Quick search
You may use this search engine irrespective of general search and advanced search engines.
This option is helpful when you know the accommodation reference number and want to see the details of it directly.
You must enter the reference number of the accommodation and then click Search.- My List – Accommodation pre-selection
The application "My List" has been created to pre-select your favorite accommodations to be able to compare them easily before making a reservation.
If you want to pre-select multiple accommodations, you must click the "Add to My List" button, which is located at the heading of each accommodation, and they will be saved in "My List".
You will be able to add up to 6 accommodations.- Accommodations information
The information regarding the accommodations is presented as a summary and as a detail.
The accommodations summary is the one that appears in the form of a list, once a search has been done. The summary contains information about the location, characteristics, equipment, capacity, minimum stay and rates.
To access the accommodation detail , you must click inside the previously described summary. The detail contains information about the location, map, photos, main characteristics, particular terms and conditions, means of transport in the area, languages spoken by the property owner, equipment, availability calendar, rates and feedback from other users.
- Accommodations availability
You may see the accommodations availability in the section Availability and Rates, within the accommodation detail. The availability calendar shows the available and booked days for each accommodation, for a period of up to one year, starting on the current month.
You can also obtain a list of the available accommodations by using the general search engine where you need to specify the arrival and departure dates.
- Rates
The rates are in the summary of each accommodation, specifying a minimum and maximum daily amount, which vary according to season and special dates. Besides, if you do a search specifying the arrival and departure days, you will be able to see the total rental amount for the selected days.
You may also get a list of accommodation that is best for your budget, using the general search engine, where you must specify the price range.

- Minimum stay
Each property owner determines the minimum stay for the accommodation. This is stated in the summary and within the accommodation detail, in the section Particular Terms and Conditions.
- Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?
Whether smoking is or is not allowed in the accommodation is specified in the section Particular Terms and Conditions in the detail of each accommodation.
If you want to search for accommodations where smoking is allowed, please use the Advanced search engine.
- Are pets allowed?
Whether animals are or are not allowed is specified in the section Particular Terms and Conditions of each accommodation.
If you want to search for accommodations where animals are allowed, please use the Advanced search engine where you can check it.
- Maximum capacity of people
The maximum capacity of occupants is stated in the summary and in the detail of each accommodation, in the section Main Information .
The number of persons occupying the accommodation must not exceed the maximum capacity specified.
- Are prices on a per-person basis?
No. Prices are per accommodation. There will be no variations in relation to the number of persons occupying the place.
- Do children require booking a place?
Yes. Children aged 12 and over need to book a place.
- Do babies require booking a place?
No. Babies from 0 to 23 months do not need to book a place, but you must inform about it when making the reservation.
- Cradle availability
If there are cradles in the accommodation, this will be stated in the section Equipment and Characteristics . However, if there are no cradles in the accommodation you have booked, you can ask the property owner if he/she can get one for you
- Exact location of the accommodation
For safety reasons the information about the exact location of the accommodation is sent once the reservation has been confirmed. In the accommodation detail, you may see a map that shows the street and area of the accommodation.
- Is there a parking site in the accommodation or nearby?
To know if the accommodation has a parking area, please check the section Main Information in the detail of each accommodation.

- Accommodation equipment
The full equipment available appears in the section Equipment and Characteristics in the detail of each accommodation. Please note that if certain equipment is not specified, chances are that it is not available.
If you want to search for accommodations with certain equipment or characteristics, please use the Advanced search engine where you can check it.
- Do all accommodations have bed linen and towels?
Most accommodations do have bed linen and towels. Please check for availability in the section Equipment and Characteristics in the detail of each accommodation.
- Are basic services included in the accommodation price?
Most accommodations include basic services such as water, gas and electricity in there rates. To find out if these services are or are not included, please check the section Particular Terms and Conditions of each accommodation.
- Final cleaning
Most accommodations include in their price the cleaning at the time of check-out. You may check this in the section Particular Terms and Conditions of each accommodation.
The accommodation is cleaned before the customer arrival and must therefore be returned in the same condition on the departure day. The property owner has the right to charge for an extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in good conditions.

- How do you make a reservation?
Once you have selected an accommodation, you must fill in the arrival and departure dates, and the number of persons, in order to ask for the final price. Next, you will need to activate the Bookbutton, provide the requested data and do the reservation payment. You will receive a confirmation e-mail and the corresponding invoice.

- What should I do if I have made a reservation and still have not received the confirmation e-mail?
You must request a copy of the confirmation by sending an e-mail to reservas@huespedia.com, including the Reservation Code and Reference Number of the accommodation.
Please note that if you have paid the reservation by bank transfer, you must wait for at least 3 days to receive the confirmation e-mail.- Consultations about a reserved accommodation
For any consultation regarding a reserved accommodation, you must contact the property owner.
For any consultation regarding confirmed reservations , you must send an e-mail to reservas@huespedia.com , including the Reservation Code and Reference Number of the accommodation.
- May I change a reservation?
Yes, you may change dates and number of occupants of a reservation, taking into account the General Terms and Conditions.

- What is the difference between the reservation payment and the rental payment?
The reservation payment is done to Huespedia as an “advanced deposit” and assures that you will occupy the accommodation in the selected dates. Its amount is always included in the rates displayed in the website.
The rental payment is done to the property owner for the use of the accommodation in the reserved dates.
- How do I do the reservation payment?
The reservation payment may be done by credit/debit card, PayPal or bank transfer. At the moment of the reservation, our system will guide you to do the payment easily.
- Is paying by credit card safe?
Yes. Huespedia has the payment gateway La Caixa TPV Virtual service.
This is an application with coded safety that implements SSL (secure socket layer) in all communications. This system not only ensures that the data will travel, encrypted, directly from the buyer to the intermediary bank; it also guarantees that such data will not be known by Huespedia at any time.- Payments by bank transfer
When the reservation is paid by bank transfer, it will be confirmed once Huespedia has received the transaction receipt. This process generally takes 3 days approximately, and during this period the accommodation will remain available in the website.
If, exceptionally, during this 3 day period another reservation for the same accommodation is made for the same dates, Huespedia will confirm the reservation to the holder of the first payment receipt received, and will refund the amount received for the reservation that was not completed.- How and when must I pay the rental amount?
The rental payment must be done pursuant to the conditions stipulated by the property owner in the section Particular Terms and Conditions of the accommodation.
- What is the guarantee and when should I pay it?
The guarantee is the amount that you must pay as a deposit. It is used to ensure the proper use of the facilities, equipment maintenance and check-out conditions.
Most property owners charge the guarantee amount, to be paid by cash, on the arrival day and refund it on the departure day; to get more information, please check the section Particular Terms and Conditions in the detail of the accommodation.
- How and when do I receive the invoices for the payments done?
The invoice of the reservation payment will be sent to you by e-mail.
Payments done by bank transfer get the invoice together with the reservation confirmation (this procedure may take up to 3 days)
The invoice of the rental payment must be requested to the owner of the accommodation.- Are taxes included in the price?
Yes. All prices published in the website include taxes.

- May I cancel a reservation?
Yes. To cancel a confirmed reservation , you must send an e-mail to cancelaciones@huespedia.com , stating the Reservation Code, the Reference Number of the accommodation and the reasons for the cancellation.
Please note that the General Terms and Conditions of the reservation cancellation by the customer shall be applied.
- Shall I get my money back if I cancel a reservation?
In all cases, the amount paid to Huespedia as a reservation fee will not be refunded. If any amount for the rental has been paid in advance by the customer (you), the property owner will return such amount. This refund may be subject to special terms and conditions; please check the section Remarks in the detail of the accommodation.
- Shall I get my money back if the property owner cancels a reservation?
Yes. In all cases. To get more information, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of the reservation cancellation by the property owner.

- How do I get to the accommodation?
You will find all the information about means of public transport in the section Additional Information in the detail of the accommodation. It will also be specified if it is indispensable to get there by car.
- Who will welcome me at the accommodation?
The property owner, or a person appointed by him/her, will welcome you at the accommodation. When you contact the property owner once the reservation has been confirmed, you need to talk about this point, if he/she has not specified it yet.
- Who will give me the accommodation keys? When?
The property owner or the person he/she has appointed will give you the accommodation keys on the arrival day. The place where the keys will be given is specified in the section Particular Conditions of each accommodation.
- Arrival and departure times
Arrival (check-in) and departure (check-out) times are specified in the section Particular Terms of each accommodation. If you think that your actual arrival or departure time will be different from the specified ones, you must inform the property owner to agree upon this point. Please take into account that the owner might charge an extra fee for the time changes.
- What should I do if the accommodation does not satisfy my expectations?
Huespedia warrants all published information regarding accommodations. If the accommodation shows what is published on the web but does not satisfy your expectations anyway, Huespedia will try to find another accommodation to meet your needs. The Terms and Conditions reservation cancellation by the customer shall be applied.
If the accommodation does not show what is published on the web, you must contact Huespedia immediately in order to record the incidence and we will offer you an accommodation that covers your needs. The Terms and Conditions for the reservation cancellation by the property owner shall be applied..

- What should I do if I have a problem or concern during my stay?
The property owner has the responsibility to answer your questions and address your problems during your stay. Once your reservation has been confirmed, we will send you the property owner information, including his/her contact telephone. We recommend that you agree with the property owner, or his/her designated person, on the ways to get in contact during the stay.
- Baggage room
Huespedia does not offer this service. You may request information about baggage room to the property owner.
